Bitcoin is alien resistant money. Buy BTC because the aliens already have bottomless gold

Trust, adoption, and scarcity are the true defining characteristics of a successful deflationary currency. The aliens already have access to more Gold than humanity can fathom and fiat is archaic, so BTC for the salvation of humanity.

Design Proposal for the Satoshi Symbol

Design Proposal for the Satoshi Symbol

Hello Everyone,

Multiple attempts have been made to create the satoshi symbol, however, some people still consider satoshis too small to be a useful unit. We argue that in order for a currency to have value and to be useful, it needs a visual representation that the community accepts, recognizes and uses. At the current prices of Bitcoin and its continuous upward trajectory, satoshis can also be a useful tool as a comparison of value in relation to a dollar.

Current Value : 1$=2,468 satoshis (https://usdsat.com/)

The symbol should be simple and identifiable enough for people to easily recognize what a satoshi is in relation to Bitcoin which is,

If BTC 0.00000001 = 1 SAT , One satoshi is equivalent to 10 raised to the power of -8, or 8 digits after the decimal period.

To create the symbol we look at the how the cent is designed,

lowercase \"c\" with a slash

So ultimately the symbol we designed is a combination of the following elements:

Lowercase \"s\", Slash, 8

Thank you for watching, any constructive criticisms and suggestions on how to improve the symbol are welcome.

Strategies for living off of BTC in a few years

Assuming bullish BTC predictions come true, in a few years there will be a lot of people with new found wealth. I am curious what financial strategies are out there to maximize the potential of a future BTC stack. What would be your strategy for living off of your BTC holdings if they exceed $1 million?

Specifically I am talking about what are options beyond just selling for fiat and paying taxes. I am not super familiar with DeFi but know there are ways to gain interest on your crypto. I also listened to Michael Saylor say rich people don't sell their assets, they borrow money with their appreciating asset as collateral and then refinance. Are there any financiers out there who understand how these strategies would play out and are willing to share their knowledge?

With the rise in price and owning one whole coin now being out of reach for most people, at the surface level, buying Bitcoin might feel intimidating. At what point will the terminology shift from 'bought 0.001 Bitcoin' to 'bought 100,000 Satoshis'?

The nomenclature must shift at some point. It will become awkward to say you have a certain decimal point of a whole coin, regardless of how valuable that is in fiat. Psychologically it just feels weird to me that people will reach a point where they'll invest $1000 USD, a lot of money, for 0.01 BTC.

When will this shift happen? At $100k? Should it happen?

I’m finally at 0.05 BTC. Am I a bitcoiner now?

I’m still mad at myself because I knew about Bitcoin back when it was at 8k, but I only put in like $30 as kind of a joke. Now here I am buying a lot more at 40k lmao. Anyways, I originally decided at around 20k to start putting in $10 a day, but this was right before the major bull run and I ended up putting in a lot more than that for a higher price later on. My original milestone was going to be 0.1 BTC, but I guess I’ll be (somewhat) satisfied with this. I’m going to continue putting in $10 a day and see where that leads me. I’m 19 and don’t make much right now so hopefully when I get a real job it will still be profitable and I can add more. I have a decent amount in index funds and of course I wish I just threw it all into this but hindsight is 20/20 I guess haha
