The shills' last attempt to shill SV 2 months ago failed horrendously. People have sharpened their fangs, and shills are no longer a threat to this community.
BUT having said that, I would shit my pants if shills suddenly disappear. It means something happened and we're no longer a threat to the bankers.
It's a "can't live with, can't live without" relationship. Shills are annoying, but I would shit my pants if they disappear.

World leaders will gather in Davos for the World Economic Forum annual meetings. There are some important points about this year's meetings which were mentioned in the overview of the meetings.
It points out that we need institutional reform due to recent technological change. It then mentions cryptocurrencies and Blockchain too. It's clear what world leaders' views will be about these topics. For world leaders, Bitcoin and other Blockchain-based projects they have no control over are not part of the play. For them, they are not the future. They will discuss how the future should look like.
The worst strategy will be to stay silent, to make no reaction. "Institutional reform" is not something we hear every day. World leaders shouldn't be the only ones who discuss what it means and how it should work.
This is WEF's overview:

To criticize what's wrong with BTC and the positions of its adherents is to reaffirm BCH's values. To do so is not "childish," nor immoral, nor spam. To restrict "negativity" would bring us one step closer to controlling speech like on r/bitcoin.
PS: people who are 100% "positive" all the time are creepy.

There is a new malware out there to watch out for. Dubbed the Rocke Malware, this form of cryptojacking has the ability to disable cloud security software so as to illicitly mine for Monero (XMR) undetected.
Rocke Malware DiscoveredCybersecurity firm Palo Alto Networks is the team behind the worrying discovery. It published a report yesterday saying that the hacking goes by the disguise the Rocke Group and is targeting public cloud systems.

Hey guys. I have put on my big boy pants and decided to make one of the biggest moves in my life.
I'm selling my bar for 35 BTC to be able to follow my dream of creating a off grid Bitcoin community.
The bar is located in Thailand, Koh Phangan. We have been open for 9 years this year. We hosted the first bitcoin meetups and was the first business on the island that started accepting bitcoin. The bar is on a 10 year lease which can be extended, it comes with a company and 3 work permits. If you are interested, send me a PM.
Here is a link to the bar http://www.crowbarphangan.com/ https://www.facebook.com/crowbarphangan/
Thanks for your time :)
I just noticed an exciting trend among foreign students here in Russia. I recently carried out a little survey in one of Russia's leading universities in Saint Petersburg, Russia. And I found out 70% of the male foreign students whom I surveyed have very good knowledge of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Furthermore, 40% percent of them actually actively use bitcoin to receive money from their family and friends back home, then either spend the bitcoins in stores that accept bitcoin here in Saint Petersburg or turn them to fiat through peer to peer exchanges.
I don't know how significant this is but I think it's really good for bitcoin because the increase in adoption around the world is really healthy for bitcoin and crypto in general.
Being a regular cryptopanic reader I am used to shady, clickbaity or wannabe price-tweaking posts.
When I read "Wyoming drops biggest crypto regulation news ever." as headline I was like: yeah, sure. M00N S00N.
But as it was tagged Cardano, which I like a lot, and Cardano moved to this very Wyoming recently, I figured: why not treat yourself to some decent trash read.
And seriously, having been in crypto for some years, I was thinking: is this it? Is this really it? Can't be.
Long story short: I think it is, actually. It's just hidden in the worst headline in a repost (and overlongest twitter-monologue in original).
My sum up would be:
bill legitimates banks as official crypto storage and handlers. One twist of the wording of the bill is that it also gives crypto the same currency "rights" as fiat currencies in Wyoming. Other twist is that, the way it is put, it allows for the facilities, as they are defined as banks, to act all through United States, not only in Wyoming. It even fixes the lien issue.
Please read for yourself and tell me if I get this wrong. English is not my first language, neither is law my field of expertise.
