Why does Purse.io suck so bad, and is there an alternative?
Trying to spedn some BCH online and although Purse has been around for years it seems it’s never improved, the interface still really sucks, right? It’s practically unusable...
Is there an alternative to buy from Amazon and hopefully with a discount too?

How is Liquid not an altcoin?
Regardless of the mechanism used to peg one Liquid token to one BTC, how is Liquid not a slight of hand to convince people that a completely separate token on a federated sidechain is actually bitcoin?

Love how you can find Bitcoin conversation anywhere.
I follow a psychedelic YouTube channel called True Life Storys. It's more of a get together between friends and there is always groups of people chatting and talking real life experiences and whats going on. It's kind of like an eye opening channel and I love the topics they talk about which is mostly psychedelics but always diverts into other topics. Today he had a 5 hour show what True calls a marathon.
At first it started off a little slow so I fast forwarded it a bit and I literally landed on the exact part where they were talking about Bitcoin. I am a huge Bitcoin enthusiast and had no idea anyone on the show was also into Bitcoin and surprisingly enough there was a few guys who are really into Bitcoins and seems like they know what they are talking about.
If anyone wants to follow the show I can tell you guys a good channel and besides that if you want to hear what they were talking about Bitcoin check it out. I feel any and all talk about Bitcoin is great because the more people aware about Bitcoin the more our community grows.
Take a look at the video and I hope you like the channel. If you want to fast forward to the Bitcoin part it starts roughly at 2 hours and 24 minutes and goes for about ten minutes.

Free Ross Ulbricht
I created a tiny website for people to test Simplecash (a Bitcoin Cash API I built) by donating BCH to Ross Ulbricht, a person passionate about free markets and privacy condemned to two life sentences and 40 years without parole for creating a website.
https://freeross.herokuapp.com Ross will receive your Bitcoin Cash donation on his BTC address and can claim BCH as if it were a BCH legacy address.

The funny side effect of the BSV pumpndump is BCH gets pumped as BSV gets dumped.
You should send your thanks to the BSVtards

The order flow is much stronger than I have seen in BCH for a long time. It feels different. The selling attacks that have always worked are just being absorbed.

Lightning Network Integration
What is the current roadmap for LN integrating into mainnet? Is that even the end goal? I know that traditional changes to Bitcoin Core are imposed via democratically nominated BIP’s, will LN be integrated this way? Feel free to rephrase my questions if they are worded poorly.
On a somewhat unrelated note, who hosts the testnet? Are the coins on testnet valueless? If so, is this a result of low difficulty POW, or some other reason?
Another somewhat unrelated note, how is the lifecycle of something like a github commit or PR different for the Bitcoin Core codebase? To be more specific, how does a code change go from PR —> BIP —> implementation on mainnet?

Everytime I read these stories, it reminds me of why Bitcoin Cash is the future. It is money that you and only you control. You can carry $100 trillion dollars inside your phone to any country. The banks and governments can't touch it.
Question for a miner regarding tx fees
As a miner, you collect a lot of sub-cent UTXOs from transaction fees in the blocks you successfully mine. How difficult is it for you to spend these UTXOs? Are they effectively dust? I assume that you could not spend them individually, because they would just get eaten up by the tx fee of spending them. I'm guessing you have to group a bunch of them as inputs into a single tx. But that would make the tx size in bytes larger, and the tx fee higher. How many of these fee UTXOs have to be bundled together to make it worth transferring or spending them?
Might be a dumb question, I'm probably just misunderstanding how the fees are collected.

BCH has the most legitimate claim to the Bitcoin name, as a grassroots movement from genesis, it has kept the original vision alive. Finding balance between extremes & evolving while keeping the founding principles at heart. Old & new, these people are bitcoiners supporting BitcoinCash.
$1,097,343,500 USD moved off of bitfinex?!
Last time when merely a few hundred millions were moved off of bittrex, without any test-transactions everyone went into full panic mode.
4 hours ago more then a F*** BILLION $ or 123,447 BTC was moved off of bitfinex and noone seems to give a shit.
Whats going on?

It doesn't start in rich nations, it starts in poor ones and then it ripples all the way into banks and financial institutions in our own backyards. The collapse of banking as we know it is happening faster than many are able to grasp.
"Not everyone has facility or means to buy Bitcoin Cash. We need a gamified adoption system to perform verifiable tasks, like a mechanical turk. They will earn their way in."
Problem finding the PC version of Bitcoin.com wallet

I sent Split and unsplit BCH to coinex....
I sent split and unsplit bch to coinex (all at the same time) to capitalize on the recent BSV pump. They did not credit me the BSV. It looks like the BSV is still sitting in the old address. Anyway I can retrieve it with my ledger(that is where the unsplit bch was at on Nov. 15th)

Fake Money
I work at a bank, and although I am relatively new to BTC investing, I had mentioned to a coworker in their 40s that it is something that is a great investment for the future. They looked at me and told me that BTC is “fake money” because that’s what The Big Bang Theory tv show said....
The classic “I don’t understand it so therefore it must not be good” strategy that more and more of the older generation seem to have is so strange to me, especially with something like BTC.

1 ETH private key published during Blockd tool proof of concept, hacker unable to claim coins
https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/ejeonz/im_publicly_posting_my_ethereum_private_key/
Must hand it to the guy, he put his money where his mouth is. By the looks of it, the service watches the mempool for transactions involving the exposed address, and broadcasts a pre-signed transaction with a higher fee that knocks the first transaction out of the mempool. It appears that you pre-sign the same transaction several times, each time with progressively higher fees.
Great idea!

Can we please remove the awkward last sentence of the r/Bitcoin Description?
A large percentage of Bitcoin enthusiasts are libertarians, though people of all political philosophies are welcome.
Bitcoin is apolitical. Who cares who it's users are? It is technology. People carry stigmas and it is never good to start putting labels on something or grouping things that might be associated negatively with someone right off the bat. This is a forum after all and where do noobs always go to first learn about something? Usually internet forums, specifically on reddit. I am certainly not politically libertarian myself. It Just seems like a rather odd statement to make is all. Am I overthinking it?

Beware of Changelly exchange
I wish I had found these other posts prior to using Changelly today. My very large exchange (worth thousands of USD) is being held because I'm in the USA. I have used Changelly in the past without issue from the USA, and have provided KYC documents. So far they have told me they can't help and to contact their security team about this, via amail. I did this hours ago and have received no response. (Changelly won't provide anything other than an email address, which alone is worrisome). I will update this post if I get my coins back. This is a huge potential loss.

Paymail seems like a cool idea - will it be ported to BCH?
User experience is still less-than-ideal using Bitcoin, due to address management. Ryan Charles has been working on an attempt to make it easier for normal people to use - they call it "Paymail." (Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zspOYDJDJW0)
Users end up sending money to email addresses instead of the regular Bitcoin addresses, which seems like a fantastic idea if it works. I fiddled around with it briefly and was impressed by the experience.
Is anybody interested in porting this to BCH, or are there any good criticisms of the idea that people can share?
