There is a new Bitcoin Cash friendly crypto channel on YouTube: "All About Bitcoin Cash"
The idea is to publish short, easy to understand videos for people who are new to crypto.
And here is the first video already: An introduction to noise.cash.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19GAOSGcq88
Make sure to share the video with friends and family. And consider giving it a like, so that as many people as possible will see it.
The next video will be uploaded tomorrow and it is about the importance of seed phrases.
I hope you like the name and the logo.
With CashFusion, your finances are your business, and no one else's. Over 5.5 Million Bitcoin Cash has already been made private using this innovative, non-custodial mixing protocol.
You can Fuse all week for a few cents in fees if you want. This post is just a weekly reminder, and gives users a speciffic time to coordinate their fusing if they want. (The more people using CashFusion at once, the more effective it is!)
New to CashFusion? No problem, getting set up is pretty easy =)
First, download the Electron Cash desktop wallet. It's got CashFusion built in.
Set up your wallet (and be sure to write down your recovery phrase on a physical piece of paper), then activate CashFusion by clicking the icon in the lower right: https://i.imgur.com/DXEPLtf.png
Once it's activated, your wallet will start "fusing" the Bitcoin Cash it contains. Fusions happen over time as their own, separate transactions, and only cost you the network transactions fees (less than a penny). Each fusion transaction will include some of your coins*, so it will take multiple fusion transactions before all the coins in your wallet will be fused. (In the View menu, toggle the "coins tab" to see all of the coins in your wallet. In the "Label" field, fused coins will show CashFusion info.)
Currently, Electron Cash keeps fusing your coins indefinitely. The plan is to eventually allow you to stop fusing automatically after some number of fusions per coin but, until then, there's no downside to leaving it to fuse continuously besides paying the transaction fees. (Every fusion gives you that much more privacy, while also providing "liquidity" for other fusers.)
Electron Cash does not yet prevent you from spending un-fused coins, nor does it prefer fused coins when spending, so it's probably best to leave it fusing and keep your whole wallet fused, and/or pick your coins manually from the Coins tab. If you want that coin-management taken care of for your (and/or you're not comfortable pic the Coins tab), you can always switch back to CashShuffle for now in the Optional Features window, accessible from the Tools menu.
Here's the CashFusion Telegram group where you are welcome to ask questions. (Just remember to be courteous!)
Happy Fusing!! <3
*"Coins" are kind of a confusing concept when it comes to Bitcoin, but you can think of them just like discrete "bills" (or... "coins") in your wallet, but instead of coming in only certain sizes like $1, $5, $10, $20, etc, they can be any amount sent to you in a previous transaction, like 0.618 BCH, 0.000001 BCH, or 123.45679 BCH. (They can also be combined and split up. That happens in most transactions!)
The acceptance of Bitcoin as legal tender in El Salvador has meant the failure of the "old economy" to try to ignore Bitcoin. From now on expect a never seen attack against Bitcoin.
First of all, im new here. Hi! I love Bitcoin and lightning, but not here to discuss those. I'm curious and wanted to get an insider perspective and maybe learn something.
So here's my main question: Are all the benefits of Bcash over bitcoin just temporary? Having low fees, being fast and without congestion is all just a result of the blocks not being full. Don't get me wrong, underfull blocks are good, i love it when it happenes on btc every now and then, but never having full blocks just means noone is using the network. Last 24h bitcoin had ~ 2.98 tps and bch had ~0.95 tps (according to blockchair), of course there will be next to no fees. Bitcoin would have the same low fees if it had that few transactions.
Let's imagine bch is massively adopted and people use it like crazy, now suddenly the main selling point of fast and cheap is gone, once the blocks fill up, and people have to bid with fees for space in blocks.
Is the plan to just keep increasing the block size whenever the network gets congested? I'm geniuenly curious. To me that feels like an endless game of whack-a-mole, like treating the syptom instead of the cause, but maybe i'm missing something. Would love to hear what you have to say.
I'm posting this in both r/Bitcoin and here to get both sides of the argument before comparing notes.

This China news seems pretty bad, and especially with regard to Smart BCH. Does anyone know how or if this will affect the release of Smart BCH? I also thought we'd have the released in early June - it's still early June, but does anyone know what's up?

Rice said the Fund will later on Thursday meet with Bukele to discuss the bitcoin law. El Salvador is in discussions with the IMF seeking a near $1 billion program.
Could you imagine if the Jacks, Max, Sylor, twins and a few other bitcoin bigwigs found a way to loan that to El Salvador. They could even get technical advisory positions and help with the potential economic boom. Not going to happen but then again, I didn't think they would be mining with a volcano either
The law doesn't make any difference between custodian service or on-chain payments.

In 2001 the USD became the currency of El Salvador. Last night, the adoption of Bitcoin as another legal tender passed. As per the document below, I believe this means any company operating in these countries will have to accept Bitcoin, by law. The companies named all operate in El Salvador: Walmart, Gap, Forever 21, McDonalds, Sears, Claires, Payless Shoes, Burger King, Starbucks, KFC, Pizza Hut, Wendys, Subway, Dominos, Olive Garden, Denny's, Papa Johns Restaurants: https://logos.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Restaurant_chains_in_El_Salvador Retail: https://logos.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Retail_outlets_in_El_Salvador Specifically Act 7 & Act 8. *edited Also Amazon, Google, and even Apple also possibly need to offer services with Bitcoin. According to the El Salvador president last night, they will. Unless these companies want to black out their companies in countries that adopt Bitcoin as legal tender, they will need to start accepting Bitcoin if they offer services (including online e-commerce). I confine my interest to the standpoint of a westerner visiting for a few months.
There's always talk of this one or that one, but I don't see comparisons. Here are some of the places thrown around but how do they compare with each other?

Don't think have EVER seen a better interview about Bitcoin yet. Video not out, but if it does appear, seek it.
CNBC Tech Check June 9, 11-12.
AMAZING! There is no debate, he had an GREAT answer for every question, they tried to make this all look like some craziness, his response:
tl;dr:
Bitcoin is the biggest change the world has ever seen to move humanity forward. Nothing comes close."
If you ever need answers to the Bitcoin debate, check him out. One super smart guy. Also if get into a debate on any topic, he really knew how to move the conversation, a debate master for sure.
And I thought I was good. Picked up a few more tips for the debate toolbox. :-)
I am coming from a neutral point of view, and learning about crypro currencies. If i understood correctly, BCH's main difference to btc is being able to process more transactions per seconds because of its higher block size (currently up to 32mb/block).
But isn't that still way to less transactions? 32mb blocks are capable to do around 170 tx/s, which is way more than bitcoin obviously, but isnt this still way too little for mass adoption, so it can be used as an actual currency? Right now it seems to work, as the traffic on the network is low, but isnt this approach just delaying the scalability problem? Doing research on this i found out it is planned to increase the blocksize even more, i've read numbers up to 256mb. This would increase the tx/s, but wouldnt this lead to massive centralisation aswell? 1gb of blockchain in less than 1 hour?
im using btc.com
when i try 0.00002500 i have "Insufficient funds".
If i type anything less it says: "Invalid amount"
Does anyone know whats the problem?
