Decided to just do it and start investing in crypto. Of course, my first go to is bitcoin. Don’t know too much about the market right now, is now a good time? Looking to invest several thousand (3,000). If not bitcoin, you guys recommend any other crypto at the moment?
Hi guys,
I'm one of those people who is very interested in Bitcoin, own some, but is not that tech-savy. Now, I believe Lightning to be a step in the right direction for mass-adoption so I would like to help out by running a lightning node. I also like the privacy idea of running my own node, but - and this is the problem - I DON'T KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT IT. But at the same time I want to support the bitcoin case so I might be a perfect example of the kind of regular Joe who needs education.
I've read loads of different guide and so on, but they all seem either too rudimentary or too difficult for beginners.
So here are a coulple of questions you might be able to help me with:
Thanks in advance. This post might get some ridicule but if we want others than terminal-savvy people to adopt Bitcoin and keep them away from the exchanges we need to be able to help people like me :)

BitCoinCash Accepted In Lebanon
The First Sucess
I did not know anything at all three weeks ago , a Freind intorduced me to digital currency BitCoinCash , i started browsing everything related to this currency and started to get it for free through the Noise.cash platform , also getting more informations and discovering a lot on helpme.cash , i liked the idea beacause it made things easier for me but the only problem in my country is that there is no system through wich you can pay with digital currencies.
So i decided to change the situation and started telling everyone around me about the benefits of BitCoinCash because in my opinion it is a good solution , specially in the crisis we are going through, so my tours began.
Its a bit hard and tricky to make business adoption in lebanon , specially that most of people have trust issues when it comes to money , after bank seizing all people's money, but i didnt give up and continued what i decided to do.
The past couple days were so excited, trying to manage a meeting with owner of clothing store.
Today while im sitting in home preparing to get a nap in afternoon, the owner called me on the phone and asked me to pass over, we met and had a long discussion about Bitcoincash and the simplicity it can add to our daily life.
i start taking some shots for the store, and the owner went to print a ''BitCoinCash Accepted Here " than i went back home and start editing the video.
The First Store In My City , or i can say First In my Country in general , from North to South , receives digital currency as a payment method.
My self and anyone can make the first purchase of clothes and pay through BitCoinCash.
First LEBANON BITCOINCASH ACCEPTED HERE
The Crazy and most amazing thing is that the shop owner is one of the Coolest!!!
Created A Short Humble Video , I hope You Like It
I really don't know the best way to share this with people. I am a new account and this is a brand new extension I made. So it looks sketchy, but I put a ton of work into this and believe it could be revolutionary for this community and the world. The extension is simple, it converts the prices in your browser from USD to BTC and allows the user to toggle back and forth between USD, BTC and Sats by hovering over the displayed price. Any help in pushing this innovation out to others would be greatly appreciated. (Note the link only works with google chrome desktop application)
Feel free to DM me with any questions or feedback.
"Margin came calling and Roger didn't pickup Genesis issue summons to Roger Ver for failing to settle $20m of crypto options"
According to an indication from this chart by Arcane, the bull market seems like it is on schedule During the fall of the crypto market in 2018 and 2013, BTC declined to its bottom for an average of 400 days. Then a gradual rise and a bull market closer to bitcoin's halving began I do understand that history does not necessarily repeat itself as the macro financial factors have changed a lot and we shouldn't be timing the market either. Just curious because these past cycles are quite patterned in nature. [link] [comments] |

Hi guys, as I always do I like to post this here too!
Hi crypto brothers, as you probably know I'm Venezuelan "living" here that believes in crypto probably because I live in a country where the fiat currency is worthless (since 2007, 14 zeroes have been removed from it).
I have been posting this for over 5 years now!
One BTC traders now at around 490,000 Bs. (Bolivares), exchange rate is around 21 Bs. per USD. Before any zero removal it would have been 49,000,000,000,000,000,000 Bs.
Othes CEX used are Binance, Reserve, AirTM among others. I use LocalBitcoin as a sample because it has an API and some pages get that information and put it in a easy way!
Inflation las been crazy last months, I have been a bit anxious and depressed about that lately ( months ago it was much more stable to be honest).
Last year inflation is estimated to be over 300% (way better than last years where it was over 180,000% !!!!!)
People use crypto to avoid inflation, receive remittances and exchange mining profits (as I always say, electricity is free for now).
Monthly minimum wage is 130 Bs. so 6.5 USD monthly!
One teacher has a wage of around 10 USD and one professor from the university around 60 USD (monthly).
Average wage is 100 USD monthly.
When someone says FIAT is good and crypto is bad, show them this post! As always, any question let me know!

If adoption comes around, will we have better user friendly systems for old people to use crypto? What are your thoughts?
Old people are the first to become susceptible to scams, and I feel like crypto is a great way for these guys to get screwed.
I don't know how this is going to work out for old ppl who can't even comprehend private/public keys let alone hot/cold wallets
i think it was by someone named something like 'mek peisua' it was in japanese some lyrics: bit coin realer than bitcoin if mozart was alive hed join .. one bch million yen ...bandwagon
Everyone called me stoopid back then, now they all come asking for my advice. [link] [comments] |
