ArtBlocks Chromie Squiggles NFT public/free Ethereum mint now live. 1000 NFTs for the first 1000 people.
So as an owner and investor in alot of crypto projects , I want you all to know there is an exciting etheruem nft project called ArtBlocks doing free mints for the Chromie Squiggles for the first 1000 people. I got the email with this information today after i waited for over 3 months, i finally got the email minting is live: -- basically its a free mint on ethereum, and now live at https://chromies.net/ and although im disappointed I only minted a crappy Chromie, it does seem to offer some real tangible benefits for us Chromies owners, such as a free starbucks entry, discounted services and some other things I haven't fully investigated yet.
Part of me is also disappointed in the sketch design - in my opinion it takes away from the sweeping contours and beauty that only a real photo can show, just look at a photo of something that seems like 'art' and compare to the NFT sketch, i mean yeah, one is exciting, one is.. Dull
On the other hand, it is a nice touch that everything is hand drawn and gives an exclusive feel, for sure.
Also, its really interesting to see how much the NFT space is growing, and i think the bear market has really hidden these things out of our view, and makes us think everything is dying.. sure prices are down but development is increasing, and adoption is crazy high.
So dont give up on your nfts guys, it is real value and will be a huge part of the world going forward.

Are certain YouTubers part of the FTX and BlockFi thing?
Hi guys,
For months several youtubers have been promoting FTX and BlockFi. It seems that one of them, with over 200,000 followers, has been more transparent and said that FTX paid him $50,000 a month. So how much did those who have 500,000 followers or more than 1 million earn?
They have gotten rich by promoting something to their followers that could have led them to bankruptcy. Nobody is responsible? Weren't they responsible for researching what they promote? Is this legit?
Can't those affected who followed the advice of these youtubers to invest with FTX and Blockfi sue them?
Should followers report to YouTube that they have been promoting those platforms?
Honest questions. I wonder if it is only the FTX employees who are responsible.

Is there any risk to your dollars if you hold them on an exchange but NOT as a stablecoin like Tether?
Let's say the giant Tether bubble pops, and I have $1,000 on Kraken or Coinbase as USD. Not as USDC or USDT...Will my funds be safe? Or will the collapse of something as massive as Tether still have cascading effects that could affect my money?

Dave Ramsey Still Doesn't Get It
In his latest video he tried to go after us over FTX even though FTX had zero Bitcoin. He called them a "Bitcoin exchange" and demonstrated throughout that he still doesn't understand what Bitcoin is. Bitcoin is not crypto, Bitcoin might have gotten hit price wise in the short term but it's all the other shitcoins that got screwed directly by FTX. Hate to say it, but Dave, you still are a boomer. You still don't understand bitcoin, and my money is just fine in my cold storage but thanks for being "concerned" for its whereabouts. My advice for you at this point is please, please stay in real estate. This shiz ain't for you.

Not buying Bitcoin, am I being dumb
I’ve been saving up my money for the past month, I’m currently on £6000 in my bank and £5000 in Ethereum, I’ve been trying to save my bank money until I can get to like 16k and buy a whole bitcoin with a couple thousand left in my bank. My job is self employed and I’m also a live at home student so I don’t really have expenses, but my income is inconsistent, I’ve earned £4000+ one week and then £50 the next week. I get more student maintanence loan money january too (£1500)
Anyway, should I just save up and then buy when I hit the 1bitcoin mark or start pouring some in rn? It’s at its all time low basically for the past year or two but then again the economy is doing bad rn so I could see it going lower.
What would you suggest, I appreciate any help and if I have left out any gaps please ask in the comments

Is my crypto at FTX gone?
I do some long term investing in stocks and quite recently decided to do some crypto long term.
I chose FTX as it was popular and it had tokens I wanted to buy.
Bad luck for me :D
As it was a passive investment I did not follow the news daily and totally missed on the possibility to cash out.
Now wondering is my $ gone gone or temporary "on hold".
How likely you think that FTX will get acquired or in other way will raise cash to return investments to the clients?
As I understood, FTX is trying to restructures and raise cash, it is not closed entirely, there is a new CEO and all
----
P.S. I found this service that that says will alert if FTX enables withdrawals, wondering if it is legit http://ftxstatus.live/
