Flipstarter advertising campaigns

Hello! I remember around a year ago Marc Falzon (/u/Mafalzon) ran a flipstarter campaign asking for quite the significant sum of money, over a quarter of a million dollars worth at the time, I believe. The intention being some kind of year long world wide traveling BCH advertising and viral video documenting and promoting type of effort (the details and the financials were a little murky). I think it would be ending soon. What happened with all of the money? Was it spent accordingly, and transparently accounted for? On what, and how? Did the community get something truly special and beneficial out of this mega year long effort and expense? Was it a success, worth it in the end? Did the campaign ultimately deliver the provided dollar amount back in both its output and in its value to BCH itself? Do you then think that this community may have an appetite to sponsor another one of these, the same kind of thing over again - that is, a similar amount of money to perform the same amount of effort for a years time, with an expected overall outcome in line with what that which we saw from this campaign?

Saving with a deflationary currency is important in the 3rd world where the barrier to entry for investing is high. Why is saving important in the 1st world when we can easily buy fractions of productive assets?

Put differently, if someone in the 1st world immediately invests their discretionary income, what difference does it make to them if they get paid in fiat or bitcoin?

Cashapp reviews?

Had to get cashapp and signed up for the Bitcoin feature of the app. Anyone have experience with it and know how it is with privacy, withdrawals etc.? I will be sending all coins to a self-custody wallet once I receive some.

If 90%+ of Bitcoin has been mined, does that mean…

I understand that the profits for miners will be lower so there will be less supply… doesnt that mean the price would go really high. What am I missing?

Running Core as a wallet

Hey all.

I was recently in the market for a new cold storage wallet, and then I kept seeing tweets about how if you aren't using your full node to validate your own transactions, it is essentially useless (I know it's not entirely true). It got me doing some research about using Bitcoin Core to store all my Bitcoin as it seems like this really contributes to Bitcoin's decentralization.

I also know that I could use a lightweight client (I assume this would be the cold storage computer UI) and connect it to my full node and it offers a similar advantage.

Please help me understand what I should be considering here.

Additionally, would it be safe to store all my Bitcoin on my core node?

Thanks in advance.
