Less then 20 percent of bitcoin left to be mined?

I’m confused if there is less then 20 percent of bitcoin still able to be mined why is the price sitting at 9k when there is so little left to be mined still?

US Government Doesn't Want You to Use Foreign Crypto Exchange- AT All

I've had a hard time explaining to people what's going on and why it is a big deal. You do need some historical context for how the US law system works and our general policies.

Basically they want to track, control, bar etc etc everything. They want to do everything bitcoin was meant to keep them from doing. Let's be perfectly clear. They can't control the protocol, so they are just fencing American's in and using an oppressive profound capitalist legal regulatory system to make it so difficult to offer Americans services that no one does, where they then by turn over domestic control to, you guessed it the banks,

So the US government is overtly hostile to small entrepreneurs in the space, to innovative, low maintainance, low overhead people and the various projects that make the space a common man's tool. And since they know they can't win a fair fight, they are lying about jurisdictional reach to threaten and intimidate every major foreign exchange.

What they are doing is incredibly dangerous to the space in terms of setting legal precedents. You have to follow the legal precedents and study some legal history here, but they are creating a very bad path. They are going into border mode on something that is inherently hyper anti border.

We as an industry have to completely shift to decentralized exchanges that are set up differently than these current DEX. We need to look at it from a legal perspective. We need to fight for protections against software developers in supreme court, as free speech, and we need to have totally immutable non corporate DEX and multi DEX wallets.

Jurisdictional incorporatin and geofencing is a very grave threat to bitcoin.

$0.02 Bitcoin Fees w/ Native Segwit (bech32) And 1 Satoshi Per Byte

I'm in the process of testing temporary passphrases and also migrating my Bitcoins to native segwit (bech32). I love that ledger live has a custom fee option. I set my fee to 1 satoshi per byte when I am not in a hurry. I just check the mempool now and then to see when it clears out. It generally clears out multiple times per day and my fees have been consistently under $0.02. THANK YOU LEDGER!

I'm a Bitcoin criminal, Update.

I'm a Bitcoin criminal, Update.

Greetings everyone, I hope you're all good.

For those who don't know what is happening, i invite you to read the first post:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/c80jai/im_a_bitcoin_criminal/

These has been tough days, i'm sorry for not replying DM to some people, i've been really busy these days, also i was staying in El Callao a couple days, (Previously in La Molina, left my laptop there), I didn't expect to have so many feedback.

I'LL TRY TO MAKE THIS POST THE SHORTER POSSIBLE.

-Some really nice people contacted me here, from outside and inside Peru, and i received the help i was needing as soon as possible, medical. A friend here in Peru told me about the US Hospital Ship that was coming to Peru, perfect oportunity to get medical assistance, i felt lucky, the USNS Comfort arrived and my friend took me there. They treated me the back and an infection under a badly healed scar i had, i thought it was just physical pain, also treatment for my mallet finger and some psicological assistance, i talked them about my situation. All good, i had just a couple sequels of blows and the infection that was managed to treat in time, EVERYTHING GOOD, for free this time.

-I also had the oportunity to talk in private with Mr. Carlos Scull, Venezuelan Ambassador in Peru, the legitimate one, not the Chavista one (btw I went through the Venezuelan embassy here and it's still taken by the Chavistas, wtf? Wasn't Peru officially recognizing Guaidó?, whatever), we talked about my situation and he helped me with a couple document resolutions from Caracas about the case, it took 2 days, to ensure and give legal proof to Peruvian Interpol & Migrations the truth of my situation, in order to get a legal procedure to get an ID and all stuff as normally, to start over my life.

-Everything good after all, as i said, every security force in Venezuela is now corrupted, criminalyzed, and nowadays sanctioned almost worldwide, is easy for them to prove if a crimial record is really leggit or an arbitrary abuse. In my case, basically the SEBIN just took the paper with my name and writted down crimes and made prohibition orders so i wasn't available to do any process in any government service (Including the suspension of my passport), no judgement or a proper process, aditionally, made by the leading of sanctioned agents, accused internationally for corruption and crimes.

-After a process and a couple interviews in the Peruvian Interpol central in Monterrico - Surco, with the help of a lawyer provided by Mr. Scull, yesterday i got my Interpol report, needed to proceed with the migratory documentation process, of course i'm clean.

"DOES NOT REGISTER INTERNATIONAL CAPTURE ORDER"

-I've had to pay for some people's favors, i tried to open a "free" saving account (Yes, that's literally the name) in Scotiabank with my cedula but they told me it wasn't possible, only passport or ID card for foreigners (Carnet de extranjería), i'm not sure if it was only there or there's a Central idk where i can do it with my Vzlan Cedula, maybe any other bank, i've been asking also in BCP and BBVA (I had a BBVA account in Venezuela aswell), if anyone knows please tell me where can i open it, so another friend helped me cashing out some sats selling them in LocalBitcoins to his account, quick and easy, i feel happy knowing BTC market is really alive here in Peru too.

What's next for me?

Scheduled for August: Interview with a lawyer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to their decision, my case will be processed as a refugee, or the normal way to get the Temporary permanency permit (Permiso temporal de permanencia (PTP) in spanish). Both ways are Ok in my opinion, but the decision isn't mine.

BTW: I was critizied in my previous post for being "fake" and try to scam people, let me tell you for the 342930 time, I'VE NEVER ASKED FOR MONEY, i'm not trying to scam ANYONE, I just want to everyone to know the reality of:

1- Political situation in Venezuela

2- Bitcoin situation in Venezuela

3- My journey since i'm free, how Bitcoin literally saved my life

I'm feeling better so soon i'll be uploading a Video with more information.

I admit some people offered me that kind of help and ok... I accepted some, i'm sorry if i was desesperated and so i accepted it. I'm not a scammer, i'm not fake and i'm not using that for anything else than: Paying daily spends until i'm able to work, pay the staying and the local people who's been helping me with all this process, take my family out of Venezuela at any cost.

Once i'm 100% legal here, i really to start a small business here and hire Venezuelans with no job, and also Peruvian brothers, why not?

I have enough experience to make it, and i'll find the way and the resources to start over, contribute to the Venezuelan cause, and of course, spread the using of Bitcoin.

Anyone can DM me, in private, after you first prove you're not gonna fuck me up and reveal my identity, i can speak and show myself, i've been trying to answer everyone asap.

And let me tell you something, some people really need to understand that Venezuelan security (criminal) forces are evil, literally, and they're not stupid, they have ways to find people inside and outside the country to make their injustices, they've been sanctioned but they're not broke, they have Bitcoin and money from drug cartel, they have the weapons.

I'm still hidding in annonimity to protect myself and my people, for the moment.

Today I failed to convince a local restaurant to accept bch

I went to one of my favorite Indian spots and after the meal i asked to speak with the owner. I sat down with him and showed him the bitcoin.com wallet and showed him how it’s used. He said he was afraid of adding something like that on his phone, and also didn’t trust bitcoin because “it crashed”. I even offered him $20 in bch and he just laughed at me.

I am not sure how I can better sell the idea of bch to someone like this but I think I will go back next week and maybe try and show him a video explaining it better on my iPad.

The next place I’m going to try is my boxing gym! Wish me luck.
