Hey everyone,

GitHub Sponsors just recently released, allowing GitHub repositories to show the official means of donating to them. They do this through a special file called `FUNDING.yml`. It supports official fields such as `patreon`, `open_collective`, and `tidelift`.

I think it would be amazing if they added as officially supported fields `bitcoin` and `ethereum` (if you hate Ethereum, just be excited about Bitcoin :)

A friend loaded $60 worth of bitcoin in our old SMS-based Bitcoin wallet service from back in 2014 (discontinued). It's still there, 0.3041 BTC. He's withdrawing it today and it's now worth $2,870. The easiest way to HODL is to forget it.

Sending Bitcoin to future me...

Found a 2014 file on my computer called bitcoin wallet private key backup. It's just a text file: 4972 characters, and every 100 characters or so has a forward slash.
