Why is this unknown miner following all the network node's consensus rules when they don't have to? Don't miners determine consensus?

Seen some more confusion wrgt coin types
The source of the problem is IMO that Bitcoin (Core) (BTC) enthusiasts refuse to suffix their name with something relevant (Core, or some other name they like), instead insisting using the generic Bitcoin or bitcoin. The segwit addresses used by default really does not help.
localbitcoins.com is an example, they use BTC twice on the front page, but mostly the generic lower case bitcoin. hodlhodl.com is another example, they do the same.
We should also take care to suffix our bitcoin with Cash and BCH, to avoid confusion of course. We would like to take over and have only one bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, but it is not the time to pretend that it has already happened.
