Bitcoin exchange for New York residents?
Is there a cheaper bitcoin exchange for NY residents than Coinbase Pro?
I was looking at Bitmex, which even gives you a bit of money back for placing maker orders. https://www.bitmex.com/app/fees
While coinbase pro's fees isn't that big deal, but I'd like to know if there are any cheaper option for NY to buy/sell crypto preferably with a wallet.
I know of Gemini, which is a bit cheaper but still not at Bitmex level.

We need to be careful about our narratives. People are starting to distill upon ABC Core-like power, and anyone speaking up about it is being called a troll. Including Roger Ver and other prominent BCH individuals.
I saw this in a recent thread, and I think it's magnifying the recent issues I've been seeing with ABC vs BU type contention/fighting.
u/mr-zwets:
"Hope you stop promoting BSV like with brock Pierce and disruptors like patterson.
Learn from your mistake of supporting CSW to the last minute."
"Stop promoting bad actors. Don't give patterson, derek or that BSV guy any attention please.
The BCH community would be beter off rejecting ppl like patterson instead of playing into his attention grab by making him the 'representative' for BCH in that 'debate'."

"I watched the first 20 minutes and stopped watching because that video is just a waste of time. They said nothing of relevance in 20 minutes and were all friendly towards BSV.
The three guys were supposed to represent different viewpoints but T.k. Coleman was 100 % pro BSV, Deryk Makgill was also 100 % pro BSV even though he claimed to be "neutral between BCH and BSV", and Steve Patterson was either 100 % pro BSV or ignorant about how Calvin+Craig tried to destroy BCH by mining empty BCH blocks on the 2018-11-15 hash war attack.
Steve said that it was not a 51 % miner attack on BCH 2018-11-15 and that "it was just a disagreement and split when BSV was created" (paraphrase). And Steve was supposed to be the most pro BCH participant in that debate? Yeah right. He's either pro BSV or really ignorant about what actually happened. "Philosopher"? Not so much apparently.
Steve also said that miners decide the rules of the network which is also something that BSV people say. Steve also misrepresented the general opinion of the BCH community where he claimed that BCH people are against big businesses and payment processors. That's also something that BSV people say about BCH people and false. We BCH people have nothing against payment processors such as Bitpay which we've frequently defended over the years.
You Roger Ver should stop insinuating that Craig Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto and that BSV has any good reason to even exist. You're still actively hurting Bitcoin (Cash) every time you do that Roger. There is practically zero % probability that Craig is Satoshi so you should stop insinuating that "there is a chance". You also say you like all currencies that work. But BCH is the only one of BTC, BCH and BSV that has a practical chance of working. So you should stop insinuating that BTC and BSV may be good currencies "because they work". The USD "works" too and that makes that stance of yours absurd.
tldr: Don't waste your time on this video. They are all more or less pro BSV and ignorant about BCH and Bitcoin (Cash) in general. I base this opinion on having watched only the 20 first minutes of the video and I think that was enough." "On a practical side, the fact that these guys can go around spewing bullshit and fool even Roger means we have a long way to go disseminating our own propaganda ideas in coherent, easily digestible pieces. It is a big problem given what we want to achieve needs more company, not less.
I'll try some of that in the upcoming weeks and months."

"Roger, I don't necessarily think labels like "good" or "bad" actor are that helpful but what I can comment on are certain behaviors. Steve is repeating BSV talking points to the detriment of our community, for example, believing that not raising the soft limit is akin to developer tinkering. Please see here"
"">you learn to code, form your team, build a better full node client and defeat Amaury next May Hard Fork to take his place on the new establishment Bitcoin Cash development team
We should encouraging collaboration, not forks. Look how BCHD and Mark Lundeberg are supporting ABC and working together. Look how Verde node is also supporting the roadmap. We don't need more "NayBCs" and nchains and miner voting nonsense that will just split the chain, nor do we need people that want to cause trouble.
But you're right, Steve is out of his depth and while he may think he has valid concerns, he isn't helping here. It's just causing divisiveness as you mentioned. We are a small community that just survived 2 forks in the last 2 years. Last thing we need is non-technical person amplifying concerns that come from trolls which will only cause further issues for the small number of people that are responsibly leading protocol development."
This is exactly the type of behavior i remember seeing from Core. Dismissing alternative implementations as attacks, divisive behavior, scammers, saying they absolutely cannot be reasoned with, etc...
We need to not let ABC become the next Core. We need more implementations distributing power. We need BU. We need Flowee. We even need Roger Ver to create his own. Removing players will lead to inevitable Centralization and therefore corruption.
Edit: I also want to point out how u/contrarian__ is on this thread, siding with ABC. That's Greg Maxwell btw. Should bring up some Blockstream memories.
