This forces the users to bid against each other for the block space. This makes the transactions slower, unreliable, and expensive to use.
They want everyone to use custodial solutions, or wait a perpetual 18 months for something called lightning network to be ready.

Would this be at all possible?
I'm thinking similar to how on Ethereum there's going to be tokenized BTC options with a 1 for 1 swap ratio between normal BTC and the token.
With a straight forward on and off ramp could this be a way we start bringing more BTC holders over to BCH and in turn start bringing more value and people over to Bitcoin Cash?
