BCH vs BTC

People here are big proponents of BCH (Bitcoin Cash) saying it's more scalable, resilient, faster, etc.

can they really say that?

it doesn't have as much usage as BTC (Bitcoin Core)

also what about the fact that more money and developers are put into BTC, wouldn't that result in BTC being stronger? (cause more brains and money)

(edit: in addition, this inequality will propagate over time possibly leading to a greater inequality between the quality of the two)

How can people say BCH is a better currency than BTC given these considerations?

I am not anti BCH, i just need to be enlightened, thank you for your time
