It is asking me for OTP, yet I am not getting any OTP message on my phone number.
I need help getting back into my long forgotten bitcoin wallet.
Way back in 2013 or 2014 I tried out some bitcoin mining software on my computer. I don't know what I used, but linux software. I imagine I also had some kind of wallet installed, and as far as I can remember a friend game me about $1 worth of BTC at the time just as a test, just to see how this whole thing worked.
I forgot about it. And promptly forgot my wallet password. As I said I don't even know what software I used back then. I have a vague recollection of typing out some ridiculously long password like "This is my nonsense bitcoin wallet password" ... But that may just be my brain playing tricks on me.
Looking at old backups of my hard drive I see the source for some bitcoin miner software that I would have tried out at that time. I also found a directory called BitcoinWallet which contains the following files

I think, hope, that that backup2.dat file contains about 0.2 btc that I had mined or maybe even 0.2 plus the $1 worth of btc that my friend gave me.
How do I get into my wallet? I'm more than willing to try out brute force cracking on this wallet if I could just find out how to do it.
My PC has been re-installed many times since then but I have full CPIO backups of my home directory.
Where do I even start? I recall downloading the block chain back then, but don't know whether that was for my wallet or for the miner software I tried.
There is an option to back up my wallet in google cloud for security purposes. Are you guys doing that? It says that incase you loose your wallet you can recover it from the cloud. Isn't that what the 12 words are for? If you have your 12 words, why would you trust google to store your wallet info?
