Bitcoin is making me change my ways

I finally realized after all these years bitcoin is the way to go. Way back I was into distributed computing I used my computers to crunch for projects that found prime numbers, mapped the universe and things like that. One of the guys mentioned mining bitcoin in the beginning. I can't go back in time and fix the huge mistake I made not listening to him. I don't like to think about what I could have had. I had two AMD 3800 X2 towers that could have mined a tremendous amount of bitcoin.

I have stopped buying scratch offs and lottery tickets. I try to put an much as I can into bitcoin from my paycheck. I sold a bunch of US mint silver eagles and proof sets. I sold a few animation cels that I've had for a while. That got me $7000 to invest in bitcoin.

I am contributing the max to my 401k as well for diversity. I'm working on getting some of that 401k money into bitcoin too. I learned some things about that from the sub. I appreciate the help gentlemen.

I've been watching my spending and paying down my credit card debt at a furious rate.

I will hodl on with diamond 💎 👐. My moon is one million dollars. At that point I will take some of the extra for myself if I need it, but I will always hodl one million dollars if I get there.

Bitcoin for college.

Hello people. I just had the biggest realization this morning. Kinda late but it just hit me. My original moon goal has been met. Done: To invest to pay for my son's college tuition.

Quick story: back in June 2017 I started investing in crypto and stopped on Novemebr 2017. My original goal was to buy in the hopes that my newborn (born November 2017) would have a sort of college fund set up. Not your traditional college fund but I believed in btc.

I went through the highs of the 2017/2018 craze and felt like I was a genius for investing in btc but during the crash and the bear market, I felt the pain of watching it all go negative on me, and I mean negative. Many of my colleagues called me dumb. A dreamer. A lost cause.

But I held.

I held.

I held.

For 3 years I watched this thing go through a roller coaster. But I held.

Today I woke up and saw the amount on my Ledger Nano S and it literally just hit me... My 18 year old goal was met in 3.5 years.

Wow.

This is bonkers. This is crazy. I literally can't believe it. My son's education is secured.

The same coworkers are now contacting me regretting the fact that they never invested or sold at the dips. Sorry buddies! Should've held.

But, even though the original goal has been met, I have another son waiting for his cut! I'm gonna keep holding. New moon goal: 2 college tuitions, instead of one. My investment horizon has reset again. 18 years to HOLD. I'm sure btc will double in price before then. :)

TLDR; invested in 2017.. son's college tuition secure..hodling for my second son's college tuition. To the moon! Hodl!!!!!!
