Just lost all my bitcoin and ethereum. Worth of 1 year of work here in Brazil. 3000$
Not your keys not your coins. I knew it, and was using the bluewallet app using my keys also with blockchain.com.
Bullshit, they made a server side hack and got all my coins cuz they had my private key.
I was about to transfer to a cold wallet, they got me this time.
Use a trustworthy wallet.
At the moment Bitpay needs to know what wallet you are using then it will ask for payment.
It will be much better to have a protocol for introducing the available wallets for payment and integrating the payment with that. With that you can integrate multiple wallets. For example you can install the app for your children then they can ask for the payment. The notification pops up in your wallet then you can review and authorize it. It is also the possibility that smarter wallets will be able to automatically authorize certain transaction. Which is also a good step towards enabling recurring payments.
It can be done with IPC protocols like COM, DBus or plain old tcp connection to a port of loopback ip (localhost).
What do you guys think?
Is this already implemented?
