Disruptors of the year award

Just want to say a big thank you to the teams behind BCH for what you are doing in the crypto space. See a need, fill a need, right? Also, you're slaying the dragon most foul, so kudos.

Charity idea

So I'm thinking of starting a crypto charity with focus on bch and wanted to get some feedback. The plan is to try and generate as much donations as I can and then instead of just converting back to cash to buy necessities for the homeless(i.e. food, water, clothing etc..) and instead use the charity aspect as a way to convince certain stores to accept the bch. Once the stores are on board I will pass out handouts with qr codes with certain amounts to homeless people in different cities and explain to them how and where to use it. Obviously they will need some sort of device but more homeless people have phones than you'd think(at least from where I am located). I will also try to start a donation for old phones and devices for those who don't have them. Since all they require is wifi all they should need is a device since most stores do have public wifi access. The goal is to help as many as possible while also increasing merchant adoption. Please let me know what you think and any ideas for getting started/ addition to my plan.

I have an old bitcoin wallet that starts with a 7, not your normal 1 or 3. wondering if anyone knows of such a thing.

Years ago I set up a bitcoin wallet, this was before bitcoin was really known to the mass of people. I have the address and it starts with a 7 and has hyphens. It baffles me as to why it starts with a 7 and not a 1 or a 3. I wrote it down and secured it but I didn't write any other info about it except the address. I do not recall what site I created it on or if it was created on Ubuntu. I guess I was a little too cryptic when I made it, even for myself :) .

I am a bit confused on how I would even go about restoring it as it has been way too long ago since I created it.

Thanks for the responses.

Is there an alternative to trends.cash and oyo.cash?

I was watching a 2-year-old video that used trends.cash to see the popular apps used on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain.

However, when I went to that website it now defaults to the BSV blockchain. Same for oyo.cash.

Is there an alternative? Thanks.
