The first 2-3 years of holding are the hardest. By the end of year 3 into 4 though, you'll pretty much always be in the green, despite this massive 50%+ dip from the recent ATH, all long term holders of 4+ years are all still 500%-1000%+ in the green. Bitcoin was programmed for long-term thinkers.

Short term thinkers get wrecked by the Bitcoin algorithm. As it was meant to be. The algorithm rewards patience.
