I made my first purchase with Purse.io, saved 10-15%!

Only a few days ago, I started using purse so I could save money by buying items on Amazon. I bought myself a dual monitor stand, and saved some money. Spend and replace worked well too because the exchange I used has low fees. Possibly one of the greatest user experiences I've had!

I personally suggest that if you support crypto and are a business owner, offer discounts to customers who use it instead of credit cards. As a business, you can also benefit by reinvesting that money to buy goods and products from other businesses that offer discounts for the same reason (as an example, purse.io gives you discounts on Amazon items).

This is how crypto will catch on. If and when people profit and/or save money, they have a reason to adopt and use it as a medium of exchange. Offer a larger economy in which users can benefit, and you can now use it as an actual currency.

CHIP-2021-05 Minimum fee rate voting via versionbits

This proposal, stimulated by recent discussion on lowering relay fees, would let miners adjust these relay fees via votes in the block header (versionbits).

A voting period of 1,008 block (~ 1 week) is proposed, with increases or decreases of 25% of the prior fee rate, but only if 75% or more of the votes are in favor of the increase/decrease. Otherwise the rate remains unchanged.

Relay fee is bounded between 1 sat/byte (today's rate) and 0.001 sat/byte, and hash voting can adjust the rate up or down within this interval.

You can find the full specification on GitLab: https://gitlab.com/freetrader/chips/-/blob/master/CHIP-2021-05_Minimum_Fee_Rate_Voting_Via_Versionbits.md

A discussion thread has also been opened on BitcoinCashResearch.org:

Bitcoin Cash is unique from the community.

In fact, it's so unique that nobody notices the growing adoption under their noses.

To they really need to get it to 95%-99% adoption to see it?
