Apparently there is a massive hack on ethereum/eth-wallets occurring, when you send eth to addresses somehow some hacker switches the address and sends it to themselves. No one know how yet.

2of2 Multisig vs Singlesig with Passphrase

I’m trying to decide between storing my Bitcoin in a multisig using hardware wallets with Electrum or using a Coldcard for a singlesig with a passphrase.

I know multisig is harder to set up and backup but the benefit is the keys can be easily distributed by location.

As for the singlesig, I like the fact that you can have multiple accounts by using pass phrases and you don’t need. I feel it’s safe as long as the passphrases are not stored with recovery seed phrases.

I want a setup that is easy without compromising security. I want to use the wallet for long term and I want to be easy for inheritance.

What do you all recommend and why?
