Badger Wallet (is it still safe to use?)

Heres what I know about badger wallet (for BCH)

it used to be run by Bitcoin.com (which was when i created it)

i logged in recently (badger wallet is a chrome/brave browser extension) and I got a warning message on my extensions manager next to Badger saying it was 'unsupported' or 'no longer supported' or something like that

I read online that Bitcoin.com handed over development of badger wallet to Vin Armani.

does anyone know if these wallets are still safe to use? or if there was some change that Vin made etc?

Crypto is not just a token used financially, its a technology.

And as a technology it will evolve to benefit humanity as all other technologies did. No one believed flight was possible, or that electricity could be harnessed to work. I could go on and on with similar stories. Blockchain is not just for financial transactions, as you all surely know smart contracts will literally one day simplify a multitude of transactions that now need a middle man. Remember when automated assembly lines caught flak because it would put people out of work? Well they actually made more jobs and brought down prices for consumer goods.
FUD will always be a domain of those who feel crypto will strip them of their status quo.
