I think Satoshi made a big mistake by not saying "don't trust anyone that claims to be me" prior to his disappearing because he just completly underestimated people's stupidity.

To me it's obvious that Satoshi's disappering was well planned from the beginning.

The reason for his dissappearing was the fact that a known founder of Bitcoin would be a trusted Person which would be undesireable in a system that's supposed to works trustless.

Some Satohi quotes from http://p2pfoundation.ning.com/forum/topics/bitcoin-open-source :

"I've developed a new open source P2P e-cash system called Bitcoin. It's completely decentralized, with no central server or trusted parties, because everything is based on crypto proof instead of trust."

"The root problem with conventional currency is all the trust that's required to make it work."

If Satoshi did it right then he also destroyed all private keys and any evidence that would allow him to prove his identity.

SATOSHI REAPPEARING IS NOT IN LINE WITH THE WHITEPAPER!!!!
