This is the famous speech in june 2022 by u/binarygold

When you're buying Bitcoin, you're not just buying a random speculative asset to make a quick buck. What you're buying is much bigger and much more valuable than any other asset available. It's not about gains, or even store of value.

In fact, this will sound insane to the uninitiated, but what you're buying is more precious than anything else in the world. You're buying freedom for yourself and others. You're buying freedom from tyrannical governments, freedom from wars paid by devalued currencies, freedom of opinion and expression, freedom to freely trade with other free humans.

When you buy Bitcoin, you're directly supporting an asset that underlies a philosophical and political movement focused on the idea of liberty and pursuit of happiness, the great ideals of the United States and the free world in general, which are in danger of being completely corrupted. Every time you spend a dollar on Bitcoin, you make Bitcoin stronger, and make it live another day longer. You're feeding the flame of hope for a free society where people can do what they want without others forcing their will on them, as long as they are not hurting others.

Some people know this rationally, and thus work on Bitcoin and buy Bitcoin like nobody's business, putting their savings into it to keep the flame alive. Others know it instinctively, and may not be able to explain the reasons why they are drawn to this asset like to no other. People have an emotional attachment to gold for similar reasons, but gold also has a negative overtone, because it is also a symbol of opulence demonstrated by dictators and tyrannical rulers who are antithetical to the ideals of a free society. Bitcoin on the other hand is cyberpunk, grassroots, bottom up, and pure in heart.
