The lesson learned here is that all the exchanges where people buy and sell crypto know all the information. They know how many people are betting on the price of Bitcoin going up or down. So with that said if they see that there's a lot of people betting on the market going down than they will use their buying power to pump the market up. Therefore growing their bag and killing anyone dumb enough to think they can beat the market.
