Fiat (only) has value because it's globally accepted. In the end everyone is going to sell their BTC for fiat to buy the stuff they want...
Why not skip the part about fiat?
We already have gold for store of value and hedge against inflation.
I am asking shops, gas stations, grocery, reastaurants etc. wheter they accept Btc as a payment. When the answer is no, I ask why. Although I know most of them do not accept it as a payment I still ask it. I know this is a grain of sand for global adoption but I am trying :)
Do you do anything for Btc? Any efforts in addition to stacking sats?
How many GBTC pegged to one BTC?
The average person doesn't understand the dollar.
One halvening at a time the price USD will continue to depreciate against bitcoin
At this moment I run my own Bitcoin and lightning node at home using Raspiblitz. I would like to sell products online where people can pay with Bitcoin/lightning using my own node. Just a simple pay button is enough.
The way I see it, is that I have two options:
1. BTCPayserver
2. LNBits SatsPay server
Problem is, that for those services I need some sort of bridge for people to receive the pay link outside my network. IP2TOR is an excellent service for this but unfortunantly this went down because it was unreliable.
My question is: how can I utilize my own node as a payserver? Are there other services that will work? Or do I give the idea up of using my own node and get a cloud node using Voltage?
