While you're supporting your favorite charities this season, I hope you'll remember one who is vital in supporting the Bitcoin network -- Tor.
I've held back from donating to Tor directly because they don't accept Bitcoin, they only take the usual fiat cards. But there is a crowdfund at https://savetor.network/ where you can donate to specific Tor routers, or to a general fund. I just did, and I feel kinda good about it!
Oh, please, no sats. Give them to the crowdfund instead.
Anybody else feel like they’re some kind of Bitcoin maxi when you have conversations with people that know nothing about the technology behind Bitcoin or crypto and think it’s all a scam.
You try to explain simple use cases and why it’s import for people to have access to and often times I’m met with such resistance and love for tradfi that people make me feel like a crazy maxi, when I’m still very new to the Bitcoin space and am learning.
Makes me want to avoid having these types of conversations.

This year they are getting a Coldcard hardware wallet and I am looking forward to hear how many of them held on to their bitcoin and who sold. I will of course disown the members of my family with weak hands.

Since I heard brad garlinghouse mention he only holds btc bch and xrp I felt a lot more confirmation that large money is accumulating bch. Just have to read in between the lines

Im now allowed to receive orders directly in BTC with no institution taking a fee. All BTC goes straight from the customer straight to me. I’m so excited for further adoption of BTC and I’m happy to be a part of that. [link] [comments] |
I mean, i just cant wait for mass adoption. I wanna buy my burger with Satoshi, i wanna pay my parking by just scanning my sats. Buying an afternoon ice cream.. I wanna use sats for everyday needs. Been using the wallet for every possible chance for months.
Now i understood why government hates bitcoin and financial clowns fear the real "Money". I think lightning network makes #btc perfect for everyday usage for the average person and the true killer.
I love it and i just hope maybe in 2030 or 2040 or 2050 or no matter how long, i wanna live long enough to witness the satoshi's dream. And at last, i hope, more average person could take more time to understand and love bitcoin like i do. 🪙✨
