Am I the only one worrying that developers seem to be in a rush in general in the past year on both chains to implement code?

I'm kind of surprised lately about how buggy and seemingly superficially tested code is being implemented into Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Cash. Is there some kind of rush or is this only my perception? Maybe I just became more sensible to the topic, I don't know.

Or did the Bitcoin code just become so complex that overseen bugs become inevitable?
