For a company to raise capital on stock mkt...... Here are the steps...

1. Become public

2. Fill in a lot of paper work ,

3. Do regulation compliance

4. Pay heavy listing fees

5. Pay brokerage charges and commissions.

6. Taxes

7. Investors in the company pay capital gain taxes upto 25 percent

8. Trading only Monday to Friday. 9 to 330
