A Final Word to Bitcoin From Amrita

Hello Everyone,

I thought I would just post one final time here since everyone is running wild *again* with crazy accusations, insults, and other incoherent behavior regarding me having to shut down my token faucet.

First let me explain the faucet - Because my wallet's transaction history became so extensive I was eventually unable to perform token sends using the REST API which I relied on. I tried to resolve this but hit a dead end, and decided to take the website down as it no longer functioned how it is supposed to, and was causing confusion. Yes, I am selling the domain name, I have a lot of domain names and if I don't use them anymore I sell them, its not complicated.

What I really want to say is this - For the last 6 months I have been working on various Bitcoin projects on different networks and at every single step of the way I was immediately met with suspicion, accusations, madly inaccurate assumptions, and flat out attacks against me just for building apps that one tribe or another didn't like. My projects this year were a free Bitcoin Guestbook, the BitcoinAPI which was free, free twitter tipping in BSV, the token faucet on BCH, free on-chain IRC chat, and other projects, all of which were 100% paid for by me and free, and never charged money. Everyone is calling me a scammer, but look back on my projects and decide for yourself if I was out to scam people.

Also regarding donations - I did receive some small donations while I was working on Bitcoin SV projects. When I quit those projects, the money was demanded back from me and I was threatened with being reported to immigration if I did not return the money. When you donate money to somebody, that does not mean that you bind them in an automatic work contract, it is a donation... those of you who fail to understand this need to grow up and be adults, your behavior is absolutely appalling. I will never again in my life even make it possible for someone to donate to me or find a way to because of this.

Finally, I am not getting involved in anything bitcoin related ever again, I will not be posting here and I will be deleting this reddit account. The remaining SLP tokens I have will and have been being returned to the donors as I find them and get their current wallet addresses. Keep in mind I had 40+ people send tokens so this takes some time to get everything back to the right person and in the right wallet.

My only advice to bitcoin is to treat people with a little more respect and try to remember that we're actually human beings with actual struggles and challenges, we're not just charity workers here to make you feel good about your investment. One of my favorite developers this year started making cartoon videos about life advice and bitcoin, and he was doxxed and trolled so hard that he removed all of the videos within a week and never returned, he was visibly upset in his last video and it broke my heart to see. Adoption or even usage will never happen when this kind of attitude is just thrown on every new person here.

Please do not contact me, do not post about me expecting a response, I am done with bitcoin period and never want to hear about it again.

Goodbye,

Amrita
