Need to find the wallet

Hi,

A friend of mine just gave me his private key from a BTC wallet, but he doesn't remember from what wallet he got it. The private key consist of 16 groups of 4 caracters back-to-back (ex: XXXX XXXX.... XXXX). I would like to know can i acces those funds? There are not from a hardware wallet. Thx
