The initiative continues, thanks to the multiple supports in contributions and donations from users of this beautiful community, as well as from textile companies who have provided us with the resources and materials to manufacture a large number of masks, to be donated to people with scarce resources or that they are vulnerable before the pandemic that has infected almost 350,000 human beings and caused the deaths of 14,500 human beings.
It has been an initiative that began in a factory for the production of pants and shirts, where due to the arrival of the pandemic in my country and the quarantine ordered by the national government, it has been put to the task of stopping its work and starting to manufacture masks. , the first batch of face masks was made with materials from the textile factory and thanks to multiple contributions we can happily say that we have successfully delivered 6270 masks to this day, which help to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
We have managed to donate masks to communities made up of the elderly, children and adults, as well as donations to health and safety bodies in my state, we feel eternally grateful to each one of the people who have given us their donations and who have supported in different ways this initiative. Venezuela is going through a difficult time at a social and economic level, my country was not prepared for this pandemic, perhaps no country was, but the health system of my country is so deteriorated that it makes it ineffective when fighting pandemic.
That is why we are grateful for these initiatives and value the effort and work of each of the people who contributed their time and work in the manufacture of these masks, there are still great human beings who are willing to give their time and dedication in exchange for well-being from other Venezuelan brothers.
We continue to set the highest goal, every time we achieve a set goal we continue to think of those people who have not yet been able to steal a face mask and who continue to expose their health before this terrible pandemic, we have set ourselves the goal of reaching the figure of 10,000 Donned face masks will not be easy this time but we are confident that the number of donations and contributions from friendly communities will help us achieve the goal.
