Fork.lol says next BTC diff adjust is in 1867 blocks, halving in 2875. Seems like the halving happens mid diff adjust? Can't be right?

If the diff adjusts in 1867 blocks with 2875 until the halving then after the diff adjusts there will be 2875-1867= 1008 blocks until the halving... but the diff adjusts every 2016 blocks so what gives?
