Could the flippening happen during the next 2-3 years?

BCH or ETH are the main contenders here. In fact they are they only real contenders. They both pushed BTC hard in 2017 but didn't quite make it.

Now this time we are where we were in mid 2016. Fees then were 10 cents but now they are in the low dollar range. Segwit did quite a bit to bring down congestion. It made the noobs and maxis forget that BTC has a problem which it will one day crash into head on.

What people tend to not realize is that the number of transactions does not have a linear relationship with fees and the mempool size. Once the tx number reaches a tipping point then we have a bottle neck effect and the fees rise dramatically. BCH will be in a perfect position to target BTC.

But if a flippening does happen, what will be its effects?
