Is cash app a good place to buy bitcoin

I am looking to buy 1k worth of bitcoin to play with on bitmex. Cash app is my first choice because I already have an account set up. Would it be worth it to set up an account elsewhere just to make one purchase? Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance!
