Tried to explain what Bitcoin is to a curious friend, and at one point I felt like I was trying to explain TikTok to someone from the year 1993.

I wondered, if you could go back in time and (for whatever nonsense reason) you decide to try to explain what TikTok is to someone from the year 1993, how would you explain it?
