What does BCH do better than other cryptocurrencies?

There was a recent post on r/CryptoCurrency titled "For the newcomers: the top 50 Cryptocurrencies, each explained with one sentence." The description for BCH was:

fork of Bitcoin (so a copy with some differences), which tries to lower transaction fees and increase scalability but has been surpassed technology-wise by many other coins aiming to do just the same.

I know some of the descriptions were tongue-in-cheek (e.g. Monero was described as "if you need drugs"), but the description of BCH seemed pretty negative compared to the others.

So, where does BCH outshine other cryptocurrencies?

I wonder if Peter Schiff would be a fan of Bitcoin Cash

I'm a huge fan of Peter Schiff. He's a brilliant economist of the Austrian tradition, and has been a caller of bubbles and market movements since I was a child, and I'm 30 years old today.

He always focuses on central bank movements, the true players in the macroeconomy.

He has my utmost respect. The only thing we disagree on is crypto and, based on his podcasts, he seems to be unaware of BCH Bitcoin Cash.

I know it's a bit of a conflict of interest with regards to his business ventures, but I would be incredibly interested to hear his candid response, if he were willing to hear out the case for Bitcoin Cash.

After you downvote, take note that the gentleman is a brilliant forecaster, and as much flak he catches from the crypto community, I assure you he's vastly more aware of macro and micro interactions than you and me.

He continues to see crypto as a fringe market, and I wonder if someone influential in the Austrian space might be able to reach him and change his mind.

A question on Why BCH?

Let me preface this post by saying I hold BTC, BCH, ETH, and other cryptos. My largest holding is in BTC because frankly thats where the money is and ultimately I buy crypto to make money. I do believe that one day we will go to a p2p cashless system but as of now I acquire coins merely as an investment and don’t actually use any. I have BCH because I do think it has practical use.

Simply put, my question is why does this forum seem to think BCH is the answer to all p2p issues? Certainly by now I believe there is better tech and coins out there for the purpose of p2p than BCH. Yes BCH is better than BTC in every conceivable way, which to me seems to be why people on this sub loves BCH and dislikes BTC. But that makes me think that surely if it is purely about the tech, why not jump on something else like Nano instead of BCH?

Everyday I see posts comments under post, “Yes! BCH is the future of currency! BTC could never do what BCH does!”. Which is true. But aren’t there other coins out there that do BCH but better?

Why BCH?
