Wonder if Starbucks would accept bitcoin directly if Core simply did S2X and avoid tx fees fiasco?

Still hoping there will be some kind of “direct payment” option that will accepts BCH. If tabs (preloaded accounts) are only option for this to work that is not as good solution as it could be...
