Bitcoin is a technology that allows for lower fraud rates than credit cards at a lower cost. But some people want zero fraud rates at a zero cost while ending up with a system that is not practical enough for the real world and only works on paper.

These people are extremists and they are supported by the people behind the credit card companies who are not afraid of having their business undermined ... on paper.
