Why BTC hasn't worked and will not win long term

The kind of attacks we are seeing both against BCH and those who support it are political attacks.

These kinds of attacks work fine in realms where the truth can't be easily discerned, ie: politics, economics, philosophy.

The people behind these attacks at employing them because it's the only kinds of attacks they know.

But now they are employing them in a field that is not fuzzy like those other ones. We can read the code, and the code is very precise.

We can measure transaction fees and wait times. We can calculate costs and profits or lack thereof.

These political kind of attacks do not work in an environment where the truth is so plainly discerned.

The most effective attack they have is a social attack. They defamed the character of the most important leaders who weren't on their side and then iced them out. Gavin Andresen and Mike Hearn.

Then they attacked everyone else who want in line with them.

This created two things, a pool of useful idiots who did and didn't know any better on the technical side but don't want to be attacked, and those who stood up for the vision of Satoshi and ultimately created BCH.

We recently had a BTC developer come to the sub and day he wants to start working on BCH because he realizes BTC is a dead-end now, by he's afraid because everyone who does that gets character assassinated and the furies are unleashed against them.

This is the substitution of tribalism and emotional control for technical ability and performance.

It is wrong, abusive, and it is a red flag to people entering the industry with their head on their shoulders.

Both core and BSV engage in this behavior. We alone of these three are welcoming and focused on actually performance.
