First post here.
Went to Disneyland with my family. My wife brought some cash with her to use for small purchases. When buying two dolls for my kids, my wife gave the cashier a $100 bill she got from Wells Fargo Bank. The cashier scanned it through their currency validator several times before handing it back. “This bill is unacceptable. I don’t know why, but the machine won’t take it.” We paid with a card and went on our way. I looked at my wife and said “This is why I believe in Bitcoin.” She looked at me and said, “Me, too.”
This will be a story I continue to share with those around me. Cash is not “trust-less,” nor is it “universally accepted.”
