Please correct me where I’m wrong, but as far as my understanding goes...
A poison block attack is a denial of service attack.
This involves a miner adding a bunch of transactions to a single block in hopes that the overwhelming amount of data leaves miners orphaned if their internet connection can’t keep up.
I guess I just don’t understand how this costs money?
These blocks are still recorded and the miner still gets a reward.
If I understand this correctly nuisance blocks are just meant to terrorize mining pools with poor internet.
How is this even a problem?
I feel like I’m missing something lol
