In the US, you can now buy Bitcoin at (many? most? all?) CVS and Walgreens (Rite Aid) stores, using the LibertyX app.

(Note: there is currently a waiting list to be able to use this new option.)

I haven't used LibertyX in a while, since the stores I used to go to to buy Bitcoin raised their fees (they started at 3% but went up to 8%, in addition to exchange rate inflation), but I went to look at something on their website and it showed a new location near me, which was the Walgreens store.

You do have to do the whole KYC thing for this (as opposed to just having a verified phone number, if you just want to use the website to place the order), but this is pretty useful for adoption for regular folks. I mean, even old people go to drug stores.

I'll make sure to ask about buying Bitcoin next time I go in to buy my toilet paper, even if I'm not going to actually buy my Bitcoin that way (I don't want to do the KYC for them, since I'm already using CashApp and had to do it there). It's good to at least increase awareness.
