HOWTO: move your money off Robinhood to Coinbase Pro without any delays

  1. enable cash management (checking account) on robinhood: https://robinhood.com/us/en/about/cash-management/
  2. sign up for coinbase pro and make sure to go through all the steps to get verified (also check your instant deposit limit, for most it's 25k)
  3. add your newly created Robinhood checking account as a funding source (all you need are the account number and routing number)
  4. sell your fake paper bitcoin and then initiate a deposit from coinbase pro

At this point, you should have instant access up to 25k and you can purchase real bitcoin. you will then need to wait up to 5 days for the money to full clear, at which point you can withdraw your bitcoin from the exchange.

this way, you won't lose any money due to the price of bitcoin going up while you transfer funds from robinhood to coinbase pro.
