The last bitcoin will take 40 years to mine

Starting at block 5,040,000 the block reward (the coinbase transaction) for each block will be only 0.00000298 BTC. And will continue to halve every 4 years ending in the year 2140. Over these last ~40 years (38 probably more accurate), only 1 BTC TOTAL will be mined.
