In the midst of cryptocurrency ban there comes another blow for the cryptocurrency traders. The app-enabled crypto wallet provider Zebpay de-listed VeChain token from their exchange. The official announcement came earlier this morning but sans reason as to why the exchange took it down suddenly with no prior notification to its clients and customers.
According to AMB Crypto, Indian Cryptocurrency exchange, Zebpay made the announcement through their official twitter handle stating that they regret to inform that their exchange is delisting and discontinuing VeChain transfer transactions. It is further mentioned that the cryptocurrency exchange will accept the VET deposit till August 9, 2018, 4 PM IST while the deadline for withdrawing has been fixed till August 20, 2018, 4 PM IST. In addition to this, the exchange is going to auto-cancel all the pending orders after the deadline is passed.
The cryptocurrency VeChain launched its mainnet recently where it switched VEN tokens to VET [VeChain Thor] tokens. It is ranked at 21st position in the cryptocurrency list as per the market capitalization on CoinMarketCap. However, its prices have steeply fallen down by 21.46 in the last 24 hours. It seems that the breaking news is making its condition only worse.

Zebpay is one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges in India which is operated from Singapore. Currently, it has a listing of 19 cryptocurrencies along with the trade 35 trade pairs available. It is also providing some lucrative deals like a 50 percent discount on the trade of come cryptocurrencies.
Zebpay is facing some major operational challenges in India as the Reserve Bank of India has imposed the ban on the cryptocurrency trade. They are not being accepted in the payment system as of now and the legal battle continues in the Supreme Court of India. The final decision on the same will be coming out in September 2018.
