I have this half-baked theory that we could bootstrap a small scale BCH economy in a town in Venezuela, from there it might grow organically in to other towns.
Basically my reasoning is that if we send BCH to as many people within a small community as possible they could carry out their day to day commerce with BCH without the need to convert to fiat. Right now the boliviar is far less stable as money than BCH and there always is the possibility of converting BCH to USD.
Cash in Venezuela actually worth more than the boliviar in bank accounts because it is far more convenient to use than bank transfers which are extremely unreliable, waiting at ATMs to get cash out can take days. Bitcoin cash has the convience of regular cash once a person knows how to use it. It takes a bit of education to be used safely though
Please if anyone reading is from venezuela let me know your thoughts on this idea and any short comings
