This time, the plan for the take over has consisted in force obedience through threats (mainly broadcasted across social network) whose purpose is scare and coerce people under the menace of use hash power to make the network not reliable, as a result useless.

With the Blockstream attack the defense was the hard fork, now a hard fork is no more a defense.
