I preordered the Jade the day they announced it and I received it in the mail a few days ago.

First, let me start by saying, I love blockstream and believe they are one of the rare, few companies in this space out to benefit the community and not just make a profit.
The issue is (well, there are frankly a lot of them), it just isn't ready.
It currently only works (when it does) on Android via USB type C to USB type C cable. That's fine since I have both (USB C to USB C cable not included). They do include a USB C to USB (standard) to connect it to a power brick or computer (I don't recommend the latter for security reasons unless that's your only option). The problem with only including this cable is that you don't have what you need out of the box to even use it - at all.
The other main problem is that it seemed to be pretty buggy. It completely froze up my Galaxy Note. I couldn't do anything (including use the power/screen off button) for about 5-10 minutes each time. This happened 3 times. Every time was immediately following the phase where it confirms mnemonic phrase and ultimately sets the wallet up on the device and connects it to the app on your phone (Green Wallet).
Despite my better judgment, I tried a 4th time. For whatever reason, this time, it worked.
It's still incredibly inconvenient to use with my 6-foot USB C cable, it wasn't a great setup experience, and is currently missing a lot of features (Windows/Mac support, iOS support, BLE, PSBT, and air gapping using the camera). I believe they plan on releasing these during 2021.
At that point, it may just be the best balance of convenience, security, and price in a hardware wallet. But right now, it just isn't ready.
I look forward to the updates, and I have high hopes for this product.
