I’m heavily invested into bitcoin, so I watch a lot of videos and do a lot of reading on bitcoin. In this research I find that so many people have different opinions on what bitcoin actually is.
To me. Bitcoin is just a place to store value or wealth. That’s it, and it’s really really good at that. That in itself is of tremendous value. But bitcoin will not be the only store of value in the world. Their will still be gold, silver, other assets, ect. Bitcoin will not be the only asset that appreciates in value and you will not be poor just because you don’t invest in it.
But people don’t seem to understand that a portable, digital, store of value that can not be hacked, counterfeited, confiscated, or inflated is very valuable. And that’s all bitcoin really is.
Bitcoin is not designed to be “a one world currency”, even though it is designed to be able to be used anywhere in the world.
Bitcoin is not meant to over throw the current financial system, though it make by its very nature shake it up a bit. So many people seem to be creating so many different narratives about what bitcoin actually is. I believe we as a community need to keep sight of what the truth is. When people understand bitcoin’s true worth is when those who are closed off to bitcoin will start to open up to and understand it.
What are your thoughts. Do you agree? Disagree? I really want to know.
