I am pretty sure that the Maxi takeover started the day after Gavin Andressen went to the CIA for his talk. I think that the CIA wants to tell the world that if your country goes with Bitcoin it will become extremely poor extremely fast. They are abusing El Salvador to make this point.

Think about it. Bukake is basically creating his own new currency, this is the balance in the Civo wallet. This new currency is backed by Bitcoin. Bitcoin that now they are giving to Tether/Blockstream and then they get 1 billion tether for it. They can then use this Tether to buy more Bitcoin with it pushing up the prices of course.

Now eventually Tether can crash Bitcoin again, all they have to do is stop printing and dump all their Bitcoins for real money.

Let's say the entire crypto system does a good -90% again.

El Salvador tax payers lose 90% of their real dollar.

Then the media have these headlines: Bitcoin made El Salvador poor. IMF says "This is a causionary tale"

And this how the CIA will try to scare nation states away from trying to use Bitcoin.

And of course if a nation state tries to use any crypto but Bitcoin then it will as if they are selling oil for something not dollars.

And the Americans will invade.

Also the Maxi's are trying to get political power in the USA. If they get it they will make all coins illegal but Bitcoin on day one of having the power to do so.

Eventually the CIA will be done with the Tether play. Arrest some people, trow them in jail and let crypto figure it all out without tether and by forcing banks to monitor flows as low as 300 dollars. Banks will then be forced to close accounts of anybody dealing with crypto.

We will have our dexes, but we will have to rebuild all our fiat - dex bridges.
